Scooter's "episode" turned out to be a stroke on Sunday morning. Apparently, he has suffered brain damage from his seizures, and it manifested itself in a stroke.The vet says he is young, and there is no reason for seizures or stroke. So, we have him on an anti-seizure medication and the vet is optimistic. She (and all her staff) had great instructions for how to care for him. They were all very reassuring and kind. For now, he's just under MY observation.
