Fall is the prettiest and most depressing time of the year. Autumn means harvesting the crops that were planted in Spring. Fall means Winter is approaching... with it's shorter days and freezing weather. Autumn means cool pictures. :)This is a neat picture looking West off my deck. I wish my camera had picked up the true brilliant colors. This pic just doesn't do Mother Nature justice.
I am obsessed with the field behind my house! I sat and watched this farmer plow his field for hours. Slowly, steadily, methodically. It takes a special person to farm. I don't know many people with that kind of patience...
The next weekend, I was treated to an awesome display of Mother Nature's wrath. We had some cool lightning, thunder, high winds and rain! Then, when she was finished, she rewarded us with a smile...
