Fall Days

Fall is dwindling to an end. Bye-Bye chilly, crisp mornings! Honestly, this is how I remember fall in Florida. Chilly, though, not cold.
I must say, nature displays gorgeous sun-down time, with the clouds everywhere. And the mountains. I remember when we first moved to Utah:
We were walking out of what used to be the Riverdale Wal*Mart, and I was so shocked to see that huge, monstrous mountain standing there. My new friends who had lived here all their lives thought I was nuts, because I would just stand there and look at the moutains. Expecting them to move or something.
Remember, I am a Florida Girl, and Florida is flat. And I mean flat. (Like a pancake.) I had seen mountains, the Smokies are very pretty. But, we always drove out of them on our way to Nebraska. Nebraska is not really flat, it's part of the Great Plains. (Rolling hills.) Plus, Florida had trees everywhere, except the beach. In Utah, trees are scarce, and you can see over them. Utah really is gorgeous.
Here's Mother Nature's beauty for this evening:

This same scene will be very pretty with snow, but the snow can just chill wherever it's chillin'... We're not ready!

December Already?

Ok, I know I have Christmas postings and all on here, but DANG! I wrote the date today (repeatedly, it's payday...) and it floors me that it is December. It was seriously just Halloween!

So my poor, sweet Andie is sick today. (Yes.Again..) Not too sick to miss a pose with her beloved Scooter. Well, her twin doesn't do well without her, so she just takes Ty under her wing and makes him do all sorts of girly stuff.

Today's project? Make a pie. LOL! They were upset that they only got one piece of the Chocolate Cream Pie on Thanksgiving, so they begged me to buy more pie crusts. (I'm not Betty Crocker, remember? lol)

So, today Tori and Tyler made themselves a pie. They even decorated it.

See?

Pretty...

Also, I wanted to show what my tree really looks like. I personally like the picture of that tree in the landing better.

Ever played around with the camera so that the pic is intentionally blurry?

I did! Kinda cool...

Ok, if I don't go cut and serve the Tori/Ty pie, I think they will pop! BYE!

What color am I?

My most fun friend, Krista, had a cool color test on her page. Having nothing to do, I decided to do her test.

Here are my results:

Congratulations, you are a blue. (Congratulations huh? I win!)

Blues Motive: Intimacy

Blues are motivated by Intimacy. (Hmmmm) They seek to genuinely connect with others, (as opposed to?) and need to be understood and appreciated. (Dang straight...Is that too much to ask?) Everything they do is quality-based. (Everything!) They are loyal friends, employers, and employees. (My Achilles' heel...) Whatever or whomever they commit to is their sole and soul focus. (Makes you want to be my sole/soul focus huh?) They love to serve and give of themselves freely in order to nurture others' lives. (I wouldn't say I love to, but if the shoe fits...)

Blues have distinct preferences (yup) and have the most controlling personality. (I beg to differ. I am NOT controlling. I AM NOT controlling you. Do you hear me?) Their personal code of ethics is remarkably strong and they expect others to live honest, committed lives as well. (Well, duh! What else is there?) They enjoy sharing meaningful moments in conversation as well as paying close attention to special life events (e.g. birthdays and anniversaries). (I am soooo meaningful...)

Blues are dependable, thoughtful, and analytical; (true) but can also be self-righteous, worry-prone, and moody. (Me? Moody? Never!) They are "sainted pit-bulls" who never let go of something or someone once they are committed. (LOL! I've never quite heard it put that way...) When you deal with a BLUE, be sincere and make a genuine effort to understand and appreciate them. (Reread that...APPRECIATE ME! Understand me!)

So, if you would like to take this fun little test and see what it has to say about you, follow this link:
